Can we become like Job

God is all-powerful and all-knowing, and remember, every good gift comes from God. "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." (James 1:17).
In the previous blog, I mentioned a question: I know He can help me, but will He? Or does He have something else in mind? Will He do it for me? Now my question is, can I limit God on these gifts?
Our God really loves to bless us, but there is one other thing He looks for in us. Getting rich, passing exams, getting a job, or buying a house—these things are not His primary concerns. Yes, Jesus loves you and wants all these things for you. But what He really wants is your heart. So now, we should not think, "Will God give me all these things?" but rather think, "What’s going to be my attitude toward God?" Am I going to praise Him when I face trouble, or will I only praise Him if and when I receive blessings from Him? As Christians, we are more vulnerable to problems and troubles. So, make sure to praise our God when we get what we need, and also when we face problems. I believe if we have this mindset, we will be able to say, like Job said, "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him; but I will maintain my own ways before Him" (Job 13:15).
