Humans worry so much that we forget to rejoice in the goodness God has done already in our lives; for example, the winter season makes us worry. Waking up in the morning, cold weather, cool breeze, and dressing up make us stressed, but remember, winter is a natural part of life. The only winter can bring a beautiful summer. How can we rejoice in the Lord even in the winter season? As humans, we always like our life to be ordered and planned, but sometimes it doesn't go as we planned, and we need to face a winter season. "Jesus said to them, "The Father is the only One who has the authority to decide dates and times. These things are not for you to know (Acts 1:7) ". We cannot predict what happens next in our lives but always remember God is with us every season. Bible says in (Deuteronomy 31:8), "The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forget you. Don't be afraid. Don't worry." we may think God is far away in some situations, but remind ourselves of the truth. What is the truth? Where can we find the truth? "Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run from you? If I go up to the skies, you are there. If I lie down where the dead are, you are there. If I rise with the sun in the east and settle in the west beyond the sea, even there, you would guide me. With your right hand, you would hold me.I could say, "The darkness will hide me. The light around me will turn into night." But even the darkness is not dark to you. The night is as light as the day.Darkness and light are the same to you (Psalm 139:7-12)."
We don't need to worry about winter's long nights, and always remember winter has a purpose. There will always be a purpose for your pain; God is not cruel; only by facing trials, we can live in perseverance. Winter is the time for rest, animals hibernate, and whole nature will be preparing for summer."Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Mathew 11:28-30)."
God promises that he will find us refreshments in the winter season too. Always lean into Jesus; he will show us the right way to walk. Firstly seek his kingdom and peace. How many blessings, healing, grace and victory we take for granted? (Galatians 6:9), "We must not become tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up!" we can be confident that we have a good father who is with me and you. We can trust him blindly with all our hearts. May these words bless you. AMEN
