Waves.......

In the bible, there is an incident in Mark 4:35-41. Jesus was with his disciples in a boat going across a lake. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. Suddenly a mighty wind came upon the lake. The waves began coming over the sides and into the boat. The followers went to him and woke him. "They said, "Teacher, do you care about us? We will drown!" Jesus stood up and commanded the wind and the waves to stop. He said, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind stopped, and the lake became calm"(Mark 4:35-41).

We can easily relate this incident to our daily life. Maybe now our life seems peaceful without any trouble. The disciples were happy without Storm. But when the Storm came, they forgot God was with them. They got frightened and started to worry. In our life, we also face the same situation. When trouble comes, the first question we raise will be God, don't you care about me?. But remember one thing he is always there next to us . But we forget how powerful he is. We depend on our strength.

In my life, I believed that by getting a good job, my life would be happy. I can buy a new car, house but all these were wrong. It is not our job or money that's going to give us everything. It's God who is going to take care of us. Depend on God because he is our strength. "I wait patiently for God to save me. Only he gives me hope"(Psalms 62:5). Learn to wait patiently for him because all the tests are for strengthening us. Remember to live for God and follow this teaching "The thing you should want most is God's kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you."(Mathew 6:33)
